P311 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU





(a) Install the 2 ECM brackets with the 4 screws.

Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27in-lbf)





(b) Install the ECU cover with the 3 screws.
Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27in-lbf)
(c) Connect the 2 connectors.

NOTICE: When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter do not become stuck between the connectors and other parts.





(1) Connect the 2 connectors and lower the 2 levers.

NOTICE:
- The lever is securely engaged.
- The connector does not come out when its body is pulled.





(d) Install the hybrid vehicle control ECU with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49in-lbf)
2. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Installation
5. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH Installation
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH Installation
8. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation
9. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization procedure Repair Instruction - Initialization.

HINT: Some vehicle systems require initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
