P311 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Removal
3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH Removal
7. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Removal
9. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE COWL TOP OUTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU





(a) Remove the 3 nuts.
(b) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the hybrid vehicle control ECU.





(1) Raise the 2 levers while pushing the locks on the 2 levers, and disconnect the 2 connectors.

NOTICE: After disconnecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter do not contact the connecting parts of the connectors

(2) Remove the hybrid vehicle control ECU.





(c) Remove the 3 screws and ECU cover.





(d) Remove the 4 screws and 2 ECM brackets.
