Back Window Lock

BACK WINDOW LOCK

Back Window Lock:





REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH

HINT: Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

4. REMOVE DOOR TRIM RETAINER CAP
5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD
6. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
7. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK





a. Disconnect the connector and clamp.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and the back window lock.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK WINDOW LOCK





a. Install the back window lock with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

b. Connect the connector and clamp.

2. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD
4. INSTALL DOOR TRIM RETAINER CAP
5. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER RH
6. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM COVER LH

HINT: Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf)
