Check Transaxle Fluid Level

CHECK TRANSAXLE FLUID LEVEL

NOTICE:
^ Insufficient or excessive amounts of transaxle oil may be the cause of some trouble.
^ Place the vehicle on level surface.
^ Use genuine ATF WS.





a. Remove the filler plug.
b. Ensure that the transaxle oil level is within 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.20 inch) of the filler plug hole.

NOTICE: Recheck the transaxle oil level after driving the vehicle when exchanging oil.

HINT: Transaxle fluid quantity: 3.8 liters (4.0 US qts, 3.3 Imp. qts.)

c. Check for leaks if the quantity of oil is low.
d. Install the filler plug with a new gasket.
Torque: 39 Nm (400 kgf-cm, 29 ft. lbs.)
