Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair

TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

COMPONENTS:





REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL
3. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY





4. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the nut and tire pressure warning ECU.

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Install the tire pressure warning ECU with the nut.
(b) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the glove compartment door.
3. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL
(a) Install the integration control panel.
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. REGISTRATION OF TRANSMITTED ID
(a) Register the transmitter ID.
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (for Tire Pressure Warning System). Initialization
(a) When the ECU is replaced, perform initialization. Initialization
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform initialization. Initialization

HINT: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
