Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Don't use the dropped or damaged yaw rate sensor.
- Free from the foreign matters between yaw rate sensor bracket and body.
- Make sure the sensor direction.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
a. Remove the nut and cowl side trim board plate RH.

4. REMOVE YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR




a. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR
a. Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.




b. Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 13 Nm (136 kgf.cm, 10 ft. lbs.)

2. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
a. Install the nut with the cowl side trim board plate RH.

3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
5. PERFORM YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
6. CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
