BRAKE: FRONT BRAKE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 34 Nm (350 kgf-cm, 25 ft-lbf)
NOTICE: Be sure that the anti-squeal springs are installed to the front disc brake pads.





(b) Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)
NOTICE: Install the front brake flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID Service and Repair

3. BLEED BRAKE LINE Service and Repair

4. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
5. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Service and Repair

6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
