2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR:

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (Testing and Inspection)

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY (Removal)

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

6. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
(b) Using SST, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
