Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1NZ-FXE EMISSION CONTROL: FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR:

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR
(a) Inspect the voltage.

(1) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(2) Measure the voltage between the terminals.
Standard voltage:

(3) Remove the fuel tank cap.

(4) Measure the voltage between the terminals.
Standard voltage:

(5) Reinstall the fuel tank cap.
(6) Turn the power switch OFF.
