2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR





(a) Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt and stud bolt.
Torque: 7.5 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL NO. 3 TIMING BELT COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (Installation)

3. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
4. INSTALL DRIVE BELT (Installation)

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (Service and Repair)

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (Testing and Inspection)

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Repair Instruction - Initialization).
