DESCRIPTION

When the window lock switch on the multiplex network master switch is in the LOCK position, the front passenger door power window regulator and rear LH and RH power window switches cannot operate their respective power windows.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the multiplex network master switch with connector still connected.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH - MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH)





(a) Disconnect the H6 and G6 connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
