P310 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors from the certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly). (w/ Smart Key System)





(b) Disconnect the clamp. (w/ Smart Key System)
(c) Remove the 2 nuts and certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly). (w/ Smart Key System)





(d) Disconnect the 6 connectors from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
(e) Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and hybrid vehicle control ECU.





(f) Remove the 4 screws and 2 brackets.
