2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Removal
2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
(a) Exhaust camshaft side:




(1) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
(2) Remove the bolt and the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly and separate the wire harness bracket.




(3) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(b) Intake camshaft side:




(1) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
(2) Remove the bolt and remove the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.




(3) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
