BRAKE CONTROL: DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH: INSPECTION

INSPECTION

1. CHECK DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH





(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
(b) Check the illumination operation.
(1) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Then check that the bulb illuminates.
OK:
Bulb illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
