2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)





(a) Install a new O-ring to the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(b) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
(c) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
(d) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)





(a) Install a new O-ring to the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(b) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
(c) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
(d) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.
