NO. 1 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLYInstall the chain tensioner with the 2 bolts.
Torque 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
NO. 2 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 2 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
NO. 3 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 3 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
Torque 250 Nm (2550 kgf-cm, 184 ft-lbf)
TIMING CHAIN COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Temporarily tighten the timing chain cover with the 23 bolts and 2 nuts.
Bolt length:
Fully tighten the bolts in this order: Area 1 and Area 2.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
Fully tighten the bolts in Area 3.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
Tighten the bolts and nuts in the order of upper to lower as shown in the illustration.
Fully tighten the bolts in Area 4.
Torque 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) for bolt A
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf) for bolts except bolt A
Tighten the bolts in the order of lower to upper as shown in the illustration.
