ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: REAR DOOR (for Access Cab): DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE ACCESS PANEL REAR WEATHERSTRIP LH
(a) Remove the access panel rear weatherstrip LH.

2. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER
(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the bolt and separate the outer front seat belt assembly LH (floor side).

(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, open the cover.

(d) Remove the screw, and then remove the door pull handle.

(e) Remove the 10 clips.
(f) Remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly by sliding it upward.

4. REMOVE ACCESS PANEL INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the rod.
(b) Remove the 3 screws, and then remove the access panel inside handle sub-assembly.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 DOOR TRIM BRACKET RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws and remove the No. 1 door trim bracket.
8. REMOVE ACCESS PANEL UPPER LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the connector, the connector clamp and the access lock control cable sub-assembly.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts, and then remove the access panel upper lock assembly LH.
9. REMOVE ACCESS PANEL LOWER LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench T30, remove the 3 screws.

(b) Disconnect the connector and the access lock control cable sub-assembly.
(c) Remove the access panel lower lock assembly LH by sliding it upward.

10. REMOVE ACCESS PANEL LOCK REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the rod.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the screw, and then remove the access panel lock remote control assembly LH.

11. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench T25, remove the 2 screws, then remove the access panel lock cancel lever assembly LH.

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt, and then remove the front door courtesy light switch.

13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK STRIKER PLATE ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench T40, remove the 2 screws and door lock striker plate assembly.

14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear door service hole cover LH.

15. REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, and then remove the access panel check assembly LH.
16. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

(a) Disengage the 3 clips.

(b) Using a clip remover, disengage the 20 clips, and then remove the rear door weatherstrip LH.
NOTICE: Remove the remaining tape on the door side.
