Applicability
Introduction
Some 2009 Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a condition where dampness or water drips from the headliner around the dome light cover. This condition is caused by condensation forming in the space between the headliner and the roof of the vehicle. Use the following repair procedure to correct this condition.

Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.
Repair Procedure
1. Remove headliner.
For headliner removal and installation instructions refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model year Repair Manual:

2. Dry the roof panel with a towel.
NOTE
To ensure proper adhesion of the NEW roof silencer pad, all moisture must be removed.
3. Attach the two pieces of Roof Silencer Pad (P/N 63342-04020) next to the existing Roof Silencer Pads.
4. Reinstall headliner and all other interior components.
