1GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)





(a) Using SST, install the sensor.
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
with SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.8 in.). If using a torque wrench with a length that is not 30 cm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification Service Precautions.
- Make sure SST and wrench are connected in a straight line.

2. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)





(a) Using SST, install the sensor.

3. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (except Regular Cab Standard Deck) Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab Standard Deck) Installation
6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab Standard Deck) Installation
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
