2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal
3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
4. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
6. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE Removal
12. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY BRACKET Removal
13. REMOVE NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY Removal
14. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Removal
15. SEPARATE HARNESS PROTECTOR
(a) Remove the 5 bolts and nut [A].
(b) Disconnect the 19 connectors [B].
(c) Disconnect the 2 clamps [C].
(d) Disconnect the 2 studs [D].
16. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)
(a) Exhaust side:
(1) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(2) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(b) Intake side:
(1) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(2) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
17. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)
(a) Exhaust side:
(1) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(2) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(b) Intake side:
(1) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
(2) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly
