B2075 - Passenger Side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is a malfunction in the front seat inner belt buckle switch circuit for the passenger side. The seat belt control ECU receives buckle switch condition information from the occupant classification ECU and the center airbag sensor via the CAN communication line and controls the pre-collision system.

When DTC B2075 is stored, DTC B1650 is also output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If DTC B1650 is not cleared, DTC B2075 continues to be output.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

OK:

DTC U0151 is not output.

HINT
DTC U0151: Lost Communication with Airbag ECU

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM) Diagnosis System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DTC (AIRBAG SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / SRS Airbag / Trouble Code.

(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(c) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

DTC B1650 is not output.

HINT
DTC B1650: Occupant Classification System Malfunction

NG -- GO TO AIRBAG SYSTEM (DTC B1650) B1650
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Code.

(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(c) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

DTC B2075 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal
