DESCRIPTION
The No. 1 clearance warning buzzer sounds to alert the driver and the buzzed frequency changes depending on the distance to an obstacle.

PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER)
(a) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the buzzer operates.

OK:
No. 1 clearance warning buzzer sounds.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Intuitive Parking Assist System
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER)
(a) Disconnect the F12 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the E10 buzzer connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE NO. 1 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER Removal
