1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE

(a) Check the vehicle type.

4. CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

OK:

LIN DTC is not output.

NG -- Go to LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

OK -- Go to step 6

5. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Service Precautions.

OK:

CAN DTC is not output.

NG -- Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Service Precautions
OK -- Continue to next step.

6. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

(a) Refer to the Problem Symptoms Table Problem Symptoms Table.
