C1662 - Ambient Temperature High

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the parking assist ECU judges that the temperature has increased to a point that can cause a malfunction of the parking assist ECU.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When "System initializing" message is displayed on the navigation receiver assembly after the battery terminal disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
* Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

HINT
* If the DTC is not output again when rechecking for DTCs, it may have been stored due to a temporary increase in ambient temperature.
* If DTC C1662 is output frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
