Required Tools & Equipment

Repair Procedure

1. Using a screwdriver remove the right hand lower quarter panel trim fastener.

2. Using a plastic pry tool disengage the lower quarter panel trim.

3. Gently pull out the panel just enough to reach the cargo net T-anchor stud.

NOTICE

Pull out the panel only enough to access the stud, otherwise, panel damage may occur.

4. Hold the T-anchor stud and unscrew the T-anchor. Remove and discard the T-anchor and stud.

5. Snap the lower quarter panel trim back into place. Ensure that the weather strip is properly installed behind the tail light assembly.

6. Select one of the cargo net hooks from the repair kit and insert the fastener (removed in step 1) through the hole of the hook. Ensure the hook is located on the bottom of the opening and tighten with a screwdriver.

Do NOT overtighten the screw.

7. Plug the hole (from removal of the original T-anchor) in the panel with one of the plastic plugs in the repair kit.

8. Repeat steps 1-7 on the left hand side.
