INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs Navigation System (w/ CD Player).

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ANTENNA - NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the navigation antenna cord is securely connected to the navigation receiver assembly connector.

OK:

The cord is securely connected.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the navigation antenna connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the navigation receiver assembly with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.

(1) Clear the DTCs Navigation System (w/ CD Player).

(2) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

Same problem does not occur.

NG -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- END
