Door Lock - Smart Key System





DOOR LOCK: SMART KEY SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU)





(a) Disconnect the E84 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

(c) Reconnect the E84 ECU connector.

(d) Measure the voltage of the connector.





* If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for FRONT DOOR)





(a) Disconnect the f2 or g2 oscillator connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Front door LH side:





Front door RH side:





* If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

(c) Reconnect the f2 or g2 oscillator connector.

(d) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Front door LH side:





Front door RH side:





* If the result is not as specified, the oscillator may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Back Door)





(a) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.





* If the result is not as specified, the oscillator may have a malfunction.

4. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU)









(a) Disconnect the ID, IE and IF junction block connectors.

(b) Disconnect the E15, E16 and E17 ECU connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





* If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

(d) Reconnect the IB, ID, IE and IF junction block connectors.

(e) Reconnect the E15, E16 and E17 ECU connectors.

(f) Measure the voltage of the connectors.





* If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU may have a malfunction.
