Removal

ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips and hood insulator.





2. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. DISCONNECT WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE

(a) Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the washer hose.





4. REMOVE HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and hook.





5. REMOVE HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and hood.





6. REMOVE HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and hood hinge.

7. REMOVE HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and hood hinge.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER Removal

9. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock striker.





10. REMOVE CUSHION RUBBER

(a) Remove the 4 cushion rubbers.
