Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING: HAZARD WARNING SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance of the switch.





Standard resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

(c) Inspect the switch illumination.

(1) Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (ILL-), then check that the light comes on.

OK:

LED comes on.

(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the light.
