33. CHECK NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE (SHORT TO GROUND)
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

34. CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR RH (FOR REAR SIDE)
(a) Connect the connectors to the rear airbag sensor RH and center airbag sensor assembly.
(b) Interchange the side airbag sensor LH (for rear side) with side airbag sensor RH (for rear side) and connect the connectors.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory DTC Check / Clear.
(f) Turn the ignition switch off.
(g) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(h) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear.

35. CHECK REAR AIRBAG SENSOR RH
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(c) Return the side airbag sensor LH (for rear side) and side airbag sensor RH (for rear side) to their original positions and connect the connectors.
(d) Interchange the rear airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
(e) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
(f) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory DTC Check / Clear.
(h) Turn the ignition switch off.
(i) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(j) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear.

36. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(c) Check that the connectors are properly connected to the side airbag sensor RH (for rear side), rear airbag sensor RH and side airbag sensor RH (for front side). Also check that the connectors that link the No. 2 floor wire and front door wire RH are properly connected.
OK:
The connectors are properly connected.
HINT
If the connectors are not connected securely, reconnect the connectors and proceed to the next inspection.
(d) Disconnect the connectors from the side airbag sensor RH (for rear side), rear airbag sensor RH and side airbag sensor RH (for front side). Also disconnect the connectors that link the No. 2 floor wire and front door wire RH.
(e) Check that the terminals of connectors are not damaged.
OK:
The terminals are not deformed or damaged.
NG -- REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
OK -- Continue to next step.
37. CHECK NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE (OPEN)
(a) Using SST, connect terminals 4 (BCR+) and 3 (BCR-) of connector C.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
SST : 09843-18040
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory DTC Check / Clear.
(f) Turn the ignition switch off.
(g) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(h) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear.

(f) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(g) Clear the DTCs stored in the memory DTC Check / Clear.
(h) Turn the ignition switch off.
(i) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(j) Check for DTCs DTC Check / Clear.
