PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the F1 connector from the accessory meter assembly.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACCESSORY METER - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACCESSORY METER - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the F1 connector from the accessory meter assembly and the B2 connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the B2 connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
