Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage each clamp and install the front seat wire RH.

2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

3. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR Removal

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.





5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the claw and install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.





6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.





7. INSTALL SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide.





(b) Install the seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.





9. INSTALL SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide.





(b) Install the seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.

10. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

11. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

(a) Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts.





Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit with the nut as shown in the illustration.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 10 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
13. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.





(c) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with pad with 2 new hog rings.

(d) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with pad with 2 new hog rings.

(e) Engage the 4 hooks.





(f) Engage the guide and install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.
14. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.





(b) Engage the 14 claws.





(c) Install the front seatback board sub-assembly with the 2 screws.





15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings.

* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.





(b) Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.





(c) Install the front seat cushion cover with pad with the 2 clips.

(d) Engage the 4 clamps.





17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Insert the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield.





(b) Engage the claw.





(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage the 2 guides.





(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion shield with the 2 screws.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks.





20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

(a) Engage the 2 guides.





(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Install the front seat cushion shield with the 3 screws.

(d) Engage the 2 hooks.





21. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.





22. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER (for Driver Side)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the vertical adjuster cover.





23. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.





24. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Driver Side)

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.
