2GR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Oil Cooler)

(a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure switch.

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

(b) Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the oil pressure switch.

Torque : 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

(c) Connect the oil pressure switch assembly connector.

3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

(a) Start the engine.

(b) Check for engine oil leaks from the oil pressure switch assembly.

4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON RH (w/ Oil Cooler)

5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH (w/ Oil Cooler)

6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/o Oil Cooler)

7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/o Oil Cooler)

8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH (w/ Oil Cooler)

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
