WINDOW / GLASS: WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the D47 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the D47 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier assembly may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the E3 air conditioning control assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

HINT
Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the E3 air conditioning control assembly connector.

(e) Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning control assembly may have a malfunction.
