Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR (for 2TR-FE): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER LOWER Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

6. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE Removal

9. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal

10. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal

11. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the vane pump assembly Removal.

12. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

13. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

14. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and compressor.
