2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT Removal (from 12/2010)
3. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Removal (from 12/2010)
4. DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY Removal (from 12/2010)
5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
