2GR-FE STARTING: ENGINE SWITCH (w/ Smart Key System): REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal (from 12/2010)

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal (from 12/2010)

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER LH Removal (from 12/2010)

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1

7. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the engine switch connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the switch.
