Disassembly

AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

(a) Remove the 5 screws.





(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the air conditioning panel sub-assembly.

(c) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the ornament.





2. REMOVE CONTROL KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

NOTICE:
When disassembling the air conditioning control assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the control panel case.





(b) Remove the 5 screws and heater control base sub-assembly.





(c) Driver Side:

(1) Disengage the 3 claws and pull the control knob sub-assembly to the position shown in the illustration.





(2) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the control knob sub-assembly.





HINT
Remove the control knob sub-assembly and the dual push switch as a unit.

(d) Passenger Side:

(1) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the control knob sub-assembly.
