The main body ECU receives the ACC signal to control the illuminated entry system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

(e) Read the display on the Techstream.

OK:

Normal conditions listed above are displayed.

NG -- INSPECT FUSE (ACC)

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Interior Lighting System

2. INSPECT FUSE (ACC)

(a) Remove the ACC fuse from the instrument panel junction block.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACC POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

(a) Measure the voltage between the loading slot of the fuse and body ground.





Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
