Removal





U140F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal

5. REMOVE BATTERY Removal

6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER Removal

7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly.





(b) Disconnect the transmission wire connector, park/ neutral position switch connector and 2 wire harness clamps.

(c) Remove the bolt and transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

(d) Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

8. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and sensor.

(c) Remove the O-ring from the sensor.

9. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and sensor.

(c) Remove the O-ring from the sensor.
