Radiator Cooling Fan Control Module: Testing and Inspection





2GR-FE COOLING: COOLING FAN ECU: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/o Trailer Towing System)





Disconnect the A30 ECU connector.

(a) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).

(b) Connect the A30 ECU connector.

2. CHECK COOLING FAN ECU (w/ Trailer Towing System)





Disconnect the A31 and A32 ECU connector.

(a) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:





Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, inspect the power source system (fusible link, fuse, wire harness and relay).

(b) Connect the A31 and A32 ECU connector.
