Removal

DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH (for Standard) Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Standard) Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (for Standard)

(a) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





(b) Remove the 2 screws from the fender liner.





(c) Remove the 8 grommets from the fender liner.

HINT
The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD LH (for X-Runner) Removal

6. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING LH (for X-Runner)

7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for X-Runner) Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (for X-Runner)

(a) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





(b) Remove the 4 screws from the fender liner.





(c) Remove the 8 grommets from the fender liner.

HINT
The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

9. REMOVE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Detach the clamp and remove the wireless door lock buzzer.
