POWER ASSIST SYSTEMS: POWER STEERING ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the power steering ECU assembly to the power steering motor assembly with 2 new bolts.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Install 3 new bolts.

Torque : 3.2 Nm (33 kgf-cm, 28 in-lbf)

(c) Engage the 4 claws to install a new protector.

2. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY Reassembly

3. CONNECT ECU WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 2 connectors to the power steering ECU assembly.

4. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU PROTECTOR Reassembly

5. INSTALL STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Reassembly

6. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
