BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (w/ VSC): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat) Removal

4. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat) Removal

5. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat) Removal

6. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat) Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) Removal

9. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate and acceleration sensor bracket.





(b) Disconnect the connector and clamp from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.





NOTICE:
Do not remove the installation nuts.
