Back Window Lock

WINDSHIELD / WINDOWGLASS: BACK WINDOW LOCK: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Check operation of the back window lock assembly.





(1) Move the back window lock assembly to the lock position.

(2) Apply the battery voltage to the window lock motor and check the operation of the window lock motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the back window lock assembly.

(b) Check operation of the back window courtesy switch.





(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the back window lock assembly.
