Removal

BRAKE CONTROL: DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH (for 4WD): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Repair Instruction - Initialization

2. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Smart Key System) Removal

3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Key System) Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH

(a) Remove the downhill assist control switch connector.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the downhill assist control switch.
