Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection





2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accelerator Position No. 1, Accelerator Position No. 2.

(d) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

Accelerator Position No. 1 Standard Voltage:





Accelerator Position No. 2 Standard Voltage:





If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness and ECM.
