Ball Joint
FRONT LOWER BALL JOINTInspect the turning torque of the
ball joint.
Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning Torque (for 2AZ-FE) - Torque
1.0 to 3.4 Nm (10 to 35 kgf-cm, 9 to 30 in-lbf)
Turning Torque (for 2ZR-FE) - Torque
1.0 to 4.9 Nm (10 to 50 kgf-cm, 9 to 43 in-lbf)
