DESCRIPTION
When selecting POWER mode, the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly) operation signal is sent to the ECM. Following this, the drive torque is optimally controlled to obtain a sporty feel in response to the driver's acceleration operation.

PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CAN BUS CHECK) Pattern Select Switch EV/HV Mode Circuit
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK) Pattern Select Switch EV/HV Mode Circuit
B -- GO TO DTC CHART
A -- Continue to next step.
3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (INDICAT. LAMP ECT PWR)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test / Indicat. Lamp ECT PWR.
(d) Perform the "Indicat. Lamp ECT PWR" Active Test.
OK:
The POWER mode indicator lamp comes on or blinks.
(e) Turn the power switch off.
NG -- REPLACE NO. 2 METER CIRCUIT PLATE Components
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (PATTERN SWITCH (PWR/M))
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Pattern Switch (PWR/M).
(d) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.
Result:

A -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS Check for Intermittent Problems
5. CHECK POWER MODE SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY)
(a) Remove the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly) Components.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(c) Install the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly).

OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MODE SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect connector L78 from the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly).
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Connect the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly) connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - POWER MODE SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY))
(a) Disconnect connector A57 from the ECM.
(b) Disconnect connector L78 from the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly).
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(d) Connect the POWER mode switch (integration control and panel sub-assembly) connector.
(e) Connect the ECM connector.
