B15E8 - Harddisk Reading/Writing Malfunction(High Temperature)

DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when the temperature is higher or lower than the operation range of the hard disk drive built into the navigation receiver assembly, and hard disk drive read/write errors occur more than a specified number of times.

HINT
The hard disk drive may not operate normally when the temperature is -20°C (-4°F) or lower, or 65°C (149°F) or higher.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Navigation System (for Navigation Receiver Type).

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE HARD DISK DRIVE Removal

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
